Josh Sonnenfeld is a Concord resident who brings 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, working in the labor and environmental movements at the regional, state and national level to create new parks and national monuments, take action on climate change, create high-quality clean energy jobs, and advance outdoor access and environmental justice for all.
In Concord, Josh is a passionate advocate for Thurgood Marshall Regional Park - Home of the Port Chicago 50, bringing together residents, conservation and community organizations to advocate for the regional park as an important opportunity to honor the legacy of the Port Chicago Sailors, as well as expand connections to nature for the community and support the remarkable biodiversity of the East Bay.
